A Chance at Free Heating Oil in Central Pennsylvania

Good news for Pennsylvania residents looking to cut heating costs this winter. Central Pennsylvania Community Action (CPCA) is holding a raffle for 300 gallons of home-heating oil, donated by J.J. Powell, Inc. of Philipsburg. The official drawing will take place at the CPCA main office in Clearfield, PA, on December 18th. Residents of either Centre or Clearfield counties are eligible to win.
The CPCA is a community organization that provides services such as homebuyer assistance, job- and life-skills training, and family savings programs to area residents. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Group Work Camp 2010, a Methodist Church-sponsored community event to take place in the summer of 2010, hosted by CPCA and the Clearfield Ministerium group.
Raffle tickets are $3.00 each and may be purchased at any CPCA office. For more information on CPCA, call 800-822-2610. Some important details: oil will be delivered only to the name and address on the winning raffle ticket. Delivery must be received by April 15th, 2010.
